Please be aware that the transport insurance coverage cannot exceed the declared customs value stated in the shipping papers.
The insurance provided safeguards against loss or damage to the items within your shipment. Claims can be made based on the declared value of the items and the shipping rates offered by our carrier partners. It’s important to note that import duties or taxes cannot be claimed. The insurance coverage for transportation costs is limited and applies primarily to the shipment rates provided by our carrier partners. However, for additional services and materials beyond the carrier rates, coverage will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• How to File a Claim?
  To ensure a smooth claims process, it’s crucial to document any damages upon receiving your package. We recommend thoroughly inspecting the shipment and taking pictures in the presence of the driver in the event of any damage. It is necessary for us to report both the external and internal packaging damages to the carriers. All claims will be initially assessed by our carrier partners, followed by further evaluation by EuropaForwards. The claim amount will be based on the declared value of the goods, as provided by you.
