Personal Shopper Service

The Personal Shopper Service Fee is set out on the Site and is in addition to the Forwarding Fee.

When placing a request for the Personal Shopper Service you must provide us with the following product information so that we may process your order:

(a) brand – name of the item;

(b) manufacturer;

(c) model number;

(d) size;

(e) colour;

(f) type;

(g) quantity;

(h) shipping cost to your EuropaForwards Address;

(i) price in Euro ; and

(j) a URL link to the item on the website of your nominated Supplier.

(k) Name in the package

(l) Merchant – website name

(m) description – as per website

For Online orders from Poland website and the rest of the EU, use the direct delivery our Poland warehouse shipping address; and for Germany online shopping, use our German warehouse address for direct delivery.

We may refuse to accept any request placed by you for the Personal Shopper Service in our absolute discretion (including, without limitation, where the Goods do not comply with the requirements set out in these Terms of Trade).

When placing a request for us to provide the Personal Shopper Service, you:

1 acknowledge that if we place an order on your behalf we do so as your agent;

acknowledge that we do not accept any liability in relation to any Goods we order, except to the extent expressly set out in these Terms of Trade and that, if the Goods are faulty, you will contact the Supplier and/or manufacturer of the Goods directly and not us; and agree that we may, at our option, obtain identical Goods from an alternative Supplier to your nominated Supplier (provided that the price charged by that alternative Supplier is the same or less than the price charged by your nominated Supplier).

By placing a request for the Personal Shopper Service, you agree that we will provide the Forwarding Service in respect of the Goods acquired.

Before we can accept your request for the Personal Shopper Service, we will contact your nominated Supplier to confirm the correct price of the Goods and their availability. If the Goods can only be sourced with that Supplier at a higher price than you have specified, we will try to identify an alternative Supplier. If we are unable to identify an alternative Supplier, we will contact you to confirm (a) the price at which the Goods may be sourced from your nominated Supplier; and (b) the identity of an alternative Supplier and the price at which identical Goods may be sourced from that Supplier. We will not place any order with an alternative Supplier until you have confirmed to us that you are happy for us to do so. If the Goods are unavailable, we will notify you and decline you request.

We must receive the full price payable for the Goods together with the Personal Shopper Service Fee before we can accept your order.

Following receipt of the full price payable for the Goods and the Personal Shopper Service Fee, we will place an order for the Goods as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compliance with the German Commercial Code or Polish Commercial Code

EuropaForwards accepts purchase orders placed by their customers and acts as intermediary to the original seller – whereas clients may be either companies or private sellers. In doing so, EuropaForwards always considers the directives of the German or Poland Commercial Code – unless no other provisions are made in these GTC.

Standard order placement, purchase, and payment

In certain cases we can purchase items on your behalf. You assign us to buy a product for you from an original seller. We place your order as purchaser in accordance with your instructions and pay for you. The purchase is to be seen solely as a transaction between you and the original vendor. Thus we can give no guarantees, warranties or representations regarding the quality or suitability of the products. For this purpose, we ask you to fill in the concierge form and state the specifications of each product to be ordered by us in a clear and precise manner. These specifications include, besides details on the product (quantity, type, size, colour, description, etc.) the URL-link of the online shop (where the product is listed), the exact amount of the product, and shipping costs that may be incurred in accordance with the online shop of the original seller. Once you’ve completed your concierge order, you will be asked to pay the due amount – including costs of the product and shipping within Germany or Poland from vendor to EuropaForwards – via online payment to EuropaForwards. Provided that the transaction of the payment has been completed successfully and all transferred data have been verified by us, your purchase contract with EuropaForwards becomes effective and you’ll just have to pay the total amount due for the services rendered. For this purpose, your are responsible to check all data and information for correctness. In cases where we detect a difference between the amount paid by you and the actual amount to be paid by EuropaForwards to the original seller, we will either deduct the respective amount from your invoice sent to you upon your next order or credit the amount to above-mentioned invoice (the second invoice will be sent to you, after your goods have been received, weighed, and released for dispatch i.e. forwarding to you Acquired goods by us for customers from non-EU countries are sold at the price as seen in the German or European Online Shop by the customer, i.e. goods are sold for the gross price as listed on the online store (net plus VAT) by EuropaForwards net to third countries. This happens for reasons of simplicity, since the reclaiming of the VAT for citizens of non-EU countries is enormously work-intensive. At the moment of our engagement we assume the items to be delivered to the destination country stated in your account. In cases where the final destination country is changed, EuropaForwards needs to consider to change the already created bill, thus we allow to rise an administration fee.

Concierge Cancellation

As long as we have not placed your order / started discussion on advertisements / initiated pick ups, you can edit or cancel the Concierge order. Once we have placed the order, or started discussion on adds, or initiated the pick up (usually one to two days after you have sent the form to us), a change or a cancellation is no longer possible.

EuropaForwards purchases as a company from retailer for you. According to German law or Polish law, companies have no legal right to the right of return. As a customer, you do not automatically have a right of return. But many retailers let us return anyway so that we can enable our customers to return them. We have to decide the return option on a case-by-case basis for each retailer. In cases, where retailers allow us to return, you can have the goods returned to the vendor up to 14 days after receipt by EuropaForwards once they have been received in our warehouse. This option can also be found on your account in myOrders in the Inbox. For this service we charge a processing fee of 10 Euros, Concierge Fee of 10% is not refundable. If the original sender charges a fee, these costs will be passed on to you. To meet the deadline, it is necessary that you inform EuropaForwards in time so that we can resend your goods on time to the original vendor.

If the Concierge order can not be executed for other reasons, but EuropaForwards has already invested time and resscources in the order and/or communication process, the 10% are also not refundable to you.

Details of ownership

Your order placement will only be performed after your payments have been received and confirmed by EuropaForwards. Once the receipt of your payment has been confirmed, we will place the products on your behalf and render the corresponding payment from our bank account. In doing so, the original seller will issue the invoice under your name and you’re going to be awarded the ownership of the ordered goods.

Liability for private purchases

For private sales, such as e.g. eBay or eBay-Kleinanzeigen, EuropaForwards will not take over any liability.
